What we collect

Nothing. VaultJot sends no data to servers, contains no tracking, no telemetry and no advertising SDKs.

Where your notes live

Your notes and attached photos are stored exclusively where you tell the app to store them:

• In a folder you choose (e.g. your existing Obsidian vault in iCloud Drive, Dropbox or any other cloud provider iOS can access), or
• in VaultJot's own iCloud container, if you don't configure an external vault.

In either case your data remains under your control. VaultJot has no backend and no access to your data outside your device and your iCloud.

Permissions

VaultJot requests:

• Microphone & Speech Recognition (Apple Watch) — only to let the system dictation service transcribe voice notes. Content does not leave your device through VaultJot.
• Photos / Camera (iPhone) — only when you attach an image to a note.
• iCloud / Files — to write notes into the folder you selected.

Analytics & crash reports

VaultJot itself collects no analytics. Apple may provide aggregated crash reports to developers if you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in iOS — VaultJot does not request personal data from those reports.

Was wir sammeln

Nichts. VaultJot sendet keine Daten an Server, enthält kein Tracking, keine Telemetrie und keine Werbe-SDKs.

Wo deine Notizen liegen

Deine Notizen und angehängten Fotos werden ausschließlich dort gespeichert, wo du es in der App festlegst:

• In einem von dir gewählten Ordner (z. B. deinem bestehenden Obsidian-Vault in iCloud Drive, Dropbox oder einem anderen Cloud-Anbieter, auf den iOS zugreifen kann), oder
• im App-eigenen iCloud-Bereich, wenn du keinen externen Vault konfigurierst.

In beiden Fällen bleiben deine Daten unter deiner Kontrolle. VaultJot hat keinen eigenen Server und keinen Zugriff auf deine Daten außerhalb deines Geräts bzw. deiner iCloud.

Berechtigungen

VaultJot fragt nach Zugriff auf:

• Mikrofon & Spracherkennung (Apple Watch) — nur damit das System-Diktat Sprachnotizen transkribieren kann. Der Inhalt verlässt dein Gerät nicht über VaultJot.
• Fotos / Kamera (iPhone) — nur wenn du ein Bild an eine Notiz anhängst.
• iCloud / Dateien — um Notizen in dem von dir gewählten Ordner abzulegen.

Analytics & Crash-Reports

VaultJot selbst sammelt keine Analytics. Apple stellt Entwicklern auf Wunsch aggregierte Absturzberichte zur Verfügung — nur wenn du in iOS „Mit App-Entwicklern teilen" aktiviert hast. VaultJot fordert keine personenbezogenen Daten aus diesen Berichten.
